"Jag har tagit mig friheten att citera Adrian Chapmans inlägg till XM-L listan helt och hållet. Han gör här ett försök att reda ut vilka kombinationer fjäderben/fästen som finns i de olika modellerna. Jag har inte brytt mig om att översätta det.

The original is no longer available, so has to be replaced as a set. These later s1 struts continued on s2 2.0i 8v, 2.0i 16v and 12v non-turbo diesel until 07322 (25/11/96). However, all other s2 cars until that date used a different design of strut and top to the smaller engined cars. Then a third design was introduced, with the same split across engine types. The top must be interchangable with the second type, because the new top was introduced at O 07196, 22/7/96. Gawd knows what the exact story is there, because neither the fiche or Citroen-PR.net shows anything after that date...? -- Adrian Chapman ac@TooMany2cvs.co.uk
